The hotel FERGUS Style Punta Arabí, through whose streets this mythical space runs, will reopen its doors on April 30 with three in-house restaurants, to offer a unique lifestyle experience
Hippy Market Punta Arabí, the largest and oldest market in Ibiza, has reopened its doors today in Es Canar with the support of FERGUS Style Punta Arabí, to welcome a new season and once again showcase the creative universe that has made it one of the most emblematic spaces on the island. More than five decades after its inception, this iconic venue brings together crafts, fashion, gastronomic proposals, and live music every Wednesday in an experience for the whole family that connects with the most authentic and free spirit of the island.

This market, which opens every Wednesday and is one of the main cultural attractions of the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu, was born in 1973 as part of the hippie movement that profoundly marked the cultural identity of the island and today remains a living history of that legacy. A place that attracts residents and visitors seeking the island’s own identity, making it an international benchmark for creativity, freedom, and alternative culture, as explained by the Hippy Market Punta Arabí vendors’ association, AVEHMPA.
Craftsmanship, gastronomy, and live music
Punta Arabí Hippy Market has more than 400 stalls throughout the season that include everything from handcrafted jewelry, accessories, clothing, and decor, to natural and organic cosmetics, local liquors, and sustainable items made from recycled materials. An ideal place to find unique pieces to take home and souvenirs that convey the purest essence of the island.

This iconic market runs through the streets of FERGUS Style Punta Arabí, a four-star hotel made up of white villas integrated into a pine forest environment, offering a carefully curated gastronomic proposal through its three restaurants and bars. A place that combines leisure, gastronomy, and Mediterranean lifestyle in one space. The establishment will reopen its doors for the season on April 30 in Es Canar.
In addition, the music continues to be one of the main attractions of this multicultural space with live performances by various artists from the island and its own gastronomic area featuring several food trucks offering different culinary options. A combination that makes each day a complete plan to enjoy with family, as it also includes activities for children.

From the Santa Eulària des Riu Town Hall, they have emphasized the importance of Hippy Market Punta Arabí within the municipality’s tourist offer, especially for the Es Canar area, highlighting that “it is one of the great symbols of Santa Eulària and a reference that is part of the identity of our destination.”
Hippy Market Punta Arabí opens every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the months of April, May, and October. From June to September, its opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
