Hippy Market Punta Arabí, the largest and oldest market on the island of Ibiza, will reopen its doors alongside FERGUS Style Punta Arabí on Wednesday, April 1st, resuming its regular season with a style that is ‘more Ibiza than ever’. Located in Es Canar, this iconic market has established itself as one of Ibiza’s main multicultural spaces since its creation in 1973, thanks to its more than 400 stalls offering handicrafts, fashion, decoration and eco-friendly products, its gastronomic offering led by various food trucks, and its live music performances that bring together residents and visitors every Wednesday who are looking to discover unique products, enjoy local culture and live a complete experience.
“This year we are once again opening the season on the first Wednesday of April, returning to the market’s usual rhythm alongside FERGUS Style Punta Arabí,” says the president of the association representing the market’s vendors, AVHEMPA, Paola Podestá. With more than 50 years of history, Hippy Market Punta Arabí continues to convey the essence and the free and creative spirit that so strongly define the White Isle. “In 2026 we return to our roots with renewed energy, focusing on strengthening the community and authenticity that define our market—a unique place where culture and tradition merge in every corner,” adds the AVHEMPA representative. This iconic market runs through the streets of FERGUS Style Punta Arabí, a four-star hotel with white villas set among pine trees, featuring three restaurants and bars that offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy a complete and unique lifestyle experience on the island, bringing together culture, art and creativity in one place. After a first season marked by great public reception, FERGUS Style Punta Arabí will reopen its doors on April 30th in Es Canar.
Hippy Market Punta Arabí, more Ibiza than ever
In 2026, Hippy Market Punta Arabí returns with a clear commitment to strengthening its original essence based on community, creativity, sustainability and authenticity. A perfect space to visit with family, as a couple or with friends thanks to its wide and varied offering, which includes everything from handicrafts, fashion, accessories and natural and organic cosmetics, to local liqueurs and sustainable items made from recycled materials.

“Hippy Market Punta Arabí offers an experience for the whole family, a place to enjoy a different kind of day with options for every budget, where you can take home authentic handmade treasures—pieces that convey the soul of Ibiza and memories of the island,” adds Podestá. In addition, this market once again focuses on a cultural programme that includes live music, activities for children and various food trucks offering gastronomic options for all tastes, which will take place every Wednesday from April 1st through October. From the Ajuntament de Santa Eulària des Riu, they explain that this emblematic enclave located in Es Canar is not only the oldest hippy market on the island, but also a perfect activity to enjoy as a family. They also highlight the important role this space plays in the municipality’s tourism offering.
