FERGUS Style Arabian Tip will open its doors this season in this mythical space, with three of its own restaurants, to experience a unique lifestyle experience
This iconic Es Canar market is one of the main multicultural spaces in Ibiza since 1973 and an essential meeting place for residents and tourists every Wednesday
Hippy Market Punta Arabí, known for being the nerve center of Es Canar and one of the most iconic flea markets in Ibiza and the Balearic Islands, is preparing to have a legendary season starting from Wednesday, May 7th with FERGUS Style Punta Arabí, the new establishment of this consolidated hotel group. “We are very eager to share with our audience the work we have been doing with the over 400 craftsmen who have stalls at this flea market and who are looking forward to surprising you every Wednesday,” says Paola Podestá, president of the association that groups the sellers of this flea market, Avhempa. “There will be many novelties that our visitors will find both in their new environment and in the music field, as we are the only flea market that offers live music every week with different artists from the island,” adds Paola Podestá, who also highlights that this new hotel will have several restaurants open to the public “that will further enrich the experience of the Hippy Market,” she specifies.

FERGUS Style Punta Arabí is a four-star hotel, recommended for adults, that will recover the traditional spirit of the island, offering a superior lifestyle experience in a unique location. Its opening is scheduled for mid-May.
With white villas among pine forests, three restaurants and bars that blend into the Mediterranean landscape, this new hotel welcomes on its streets the iconic Hippy Market of Es Canar, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy a cultural and artistic environment.
“Last year we already argued that our market was “more Ibiza than ever”, and this year we want to continue claiming that 100% immersive experience,” emphasizes Podestá.
Hippy Market Punta Arabí, more Ibiza than ever
The Hippy Market Punta Arabí stands out for its wide and varied selection which includes everything from handicraft stalls such as jewelry, accessories, clothing, natural and ecological cosmetics, to local liqueurs, such as the traditional Ibizan herbs, or sustainable products made with recycled materials, such as tires or plastic, among many other products.
“Hippy Market Punta Arabí is the most complete little market in Ibiza and the one that best fits the pockets of its visitors, as there are products of all types of prices,” says the representative of the vendors of this little market. This diversity ensures that each visitor “finds something special to take home, whether a traditional souvenir or an innovative eco-friendly product,” he adds.”
Music is another of the great pillars of this multicultural space for the whole family, as well as gastronomy, as this year it will once again have its own gastronomic space where you can enjoy the variety of several food trucks.
The Hippy Market Punta Arabí has not only been “a witness to time, but it has also managed to evolve with it, blending the experience of merchants who have been around since its inception with the fresh energy of new sellers who join this community each year,” Podestá points out. This fusion of tradition and renewal keeps the little market “always up-to-date”, offering “a unique experience for both regulars and new visitors”.
From the Santa Eulària des Riu City Council, the importance of this meeting point as the nerve center of Es Canar has been emphasized, and residents and tourists have been invited to discover in 2025 the new features of this legendary flea market, which is “an ideal activity to do as a family after a day at the beach,” they point out.
